Since 1992, RC&D has partnered with local Soil Conservation Districts to perform natural resource projects at Naval facilities in Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties. These projects have included shoreline stabilization, living shorelines, slope stabilization, and dam repair.

 

RC&D was recently awarded funding through the REPI Challenge to perform a living shoreline project on Patuxent River NAS that will protect Navy test and training operations as well as diamondback terrapin nesting habitat.
